I’ve honored who I was. I’ve grieved her gently.
Now it’s time to turn up the volume on who I’m becoming.
Growth isn’t just internal—it shows up in the mirror, in your closet, in your playlist, in your plate.
So I’m changing things that have stood still for too long.
✨ New hair color that makes me feel electric.
✨ A haircut that says “I’m not hiding anymore.”
✨ Clothes that fit the woman I am now—not the one I used to squeeze into.
✨ A hobby that’s just for me.
✨ A recipe that makes me dance while I stir.
✨ A workout plan that feels like celebration, not punishment.
This isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about becoming more of me.
If you’ve been waiting for permission to change something—this is it.
Let the old version of you cheer you on as you step into the new.

Stretching Into Strength
I’ve always known that my concentration is limited. I can give my all—but only to one thing at a time. So when I decided it was time for a change, I knew I had to find my golden goose—something that would anchor me, energize me, and push me forward. That turned out to be fitness
I wanted something new. Something different. And then, like magic, it found me.
I was scrolling through YouTube when I stumbled upon Pilates. I already liked yoga, so I thought, why not give this a try? That first lesson with Francesca Maietta http://www.youtube.com/@francescaaamaietta (her channel is under her name) was eye-opening. At 40, I was both proud and disappointed in my fitness level—but I showed up.
I started doing her videos 4–5 times a week, each session about an hour long. And slowly, I could feel my body changing. But more importantly, I felt myself getting stronger.
Then I discovered Izzy Samuels—her channel is Pilates By Izzy http://www.youtube.com/@izzy.samuel. I’m currently doing her 25-day challenge, and let me tell you: it’s the best decision I’ve made. The progress I’ve seen with her workouts is incredible.
But this transformation isn’t just physical. I chose to change my appearance and my inner world. My consistency has shown me that I do care about myself. I do make time to become a better version of me. And I’ve realized that I’m only as helpful to the people around me as I am to myself.
Now? I feel energized. I feel prioritized. And with this new lifestyle, it’s time to tackle my wardrobe—to reflect the strength, confidence, and care I’ve cultivated from the inside out.
